Our principal camera operator and video editor. Al
shoots our productions using professional High
Definition camera equipment and edits using a Final
Cut Studio work flow. Al is particularly at home
shooting whilst hanging off various cliffs, crags
and mountains around the world.
He has climbed, trekked and worked on location in places as diverse as Bhutan, Oman and Namibia. In the late 1990s, Al made the first ascent of a mountain in the former Soviet Union, and named the peak after his grandmother. He now receives regular requests from other members of his extended family to climb yet more virgin summits.

television experts, Paul has also been interviewed
on national television by Johnny Vaughn, John
Humphrys, and Jeremy Paxman about Mount Everest,
which after fifteen years and three attempts
(including one during the infamous 'Into Thin Air'
season) he finally climbed in 2004.
An award-winning author, Paul can't ski to save his life, gets seasick having a bath, and experiences claustrophobia in small tents: something of a disadvantage as he has spent more than two years of his life living under canvas whilst exploring the Himalaya, the Andes, and innumerable other mountain ranges around the world that no-one has heard of.
When he's not writing in private or speaking in public (for organisations such as Cirque du Soleil, Cunard, and ICI), Paul is most likely to be found in the kitchen attempting to recreate an exotic dish from his most recent assignment.

A keen trekker, free-heel skier and amateur
naturalist, Seb has expeditioned and travelled in
the mountains of North America, East Africa,
Kyrgyzstan, the Karakoram and at various points
along the Himalayan chain.
His favourite destination by far is the Zanskar region of Ladakh. Since 1994, Seb has returned almost annually to this area where he has researched changing agricultural practices and the politics surrounding irrigation development; trekked extensively off-the-beaten-track; and made four traverses of the frozen Zanskar River.
Pursuing his passion for this corner of the world, Seb has a Masters Degree in South Asian Area Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies, London.

Elliott Forge
Elliott is our sound recordist, sound mixer,
musical composer and everything else involving
noises. Elliott also works as a sound engineer, and
has a background in music, technical theatre and
sound design.
His passion for trekking and mountaineering has taken him to various parts of the European Alps, Africa, Asia and Australia, and has included the ascent of four previously unclimbed peaks on the border of Kyrgyzstan and China, one of which he had the honour of naming, along with the ascent of a number of unclimbed rock routes in the region.
Elliott's lifelong love for the natural environment remains a constant inspiration, and he has a particular fondness for the mountains, woodlands and wildlife of Britain. He jointly manages an area of meadow and woodland on the edge of Exmoor using a variety of conservation methods to enhance biodiversity and natural habitats.
