Project Brief
GO Outdoors are one of the UK’s largest outdoor retailer with over 30 stores nationwide. GO Outdoors approached us to produce a series of films to help customers, new to the outdoors, with advice on the outdoors and the equipment needed to enjoy it. The first film in the series - The Layering System, was launched on GO Outdoors website in March 2011 and received over 2500 views in the first day alone.
What we did
We produced this whole film - The Layering System - from concept to output. This began with the idea for the film, how we planned to shoot it, the style and then the key points that needed to be covered in the film before the script writing could begin. We shot and directed the film on location in South Wales with presenter Jon Simons and in GO Outdoors Gloucester store with GO Outdoors equipment expert Jenny. We had the first cut of the film out within a week of the shoot, including motion graphics, animation, post-production and music.
